Why Choose Académie Om?
Académie Om is Vibrations Om’s training school and a Yoga Alliance–registered educational institution. Our centers are located in Montreal (Pointe-Claire, Saint-Laurent and Lachine) and we have been established for over 3 decades. Our training team includes some of the most experienced teachers in Montreal.
Many Yoga Teacher Trainings teach yoga poses.
Few teach yoga as it has been lived and transmitted for thousands of years.
Our lead teachers, Antoine Chacour Tinawi and Pamela Gooria, are the founders of all four Vibrations Om yoga and wellness studios and long-time disciples of renowned spiritual master Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. Their years of living and studying in ashrams have shaped a training that transmits yoga not simply as physical exercise, but as a complete path toward health, self-awareness, and inner transformation.
Their diverse training includes: Advanced Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training, Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, Sri Sri Yoga Teacher Training, Meditation Teacher Training, Art of Living Pranayama & Kriya Teacher Training, Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology Training, Ayurvedic Technician Training, Prenatal & Post-Natal Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, Sanskrit Studies, Vedic Chanting.
Having spent decades studying, practicing, and living yoga—including extensive time in ashrams—they bring a depth of understanding to yogic philosophy, meditation, breathwork, and authentic spiritual practice that few teacher trainings can offer.
Throughout the training, inspiring guest teachers also share their expertise, allowing students to experience different perspectives while maintaining a cohesive educational journey.
What Makes Our Training Different?
Many Yoga Teacher Trainings focus primarily on physical postures.
At Académie Om, physical practice is only one part of the journey.
Our students are immersed in the complete yogic tradition.
Rather than treating philosophy, meditation, pranayama, ethics, and chanting as secondary topics included simply to satisfy Yoga Alliance requirements, they are woven throughout the entire training and integrated into daily practice.
This authentic approach is what students consistently tell us transforms not only their teaching, but their lives.
Many arrive hoping to become yoga teachers.
They graduate having discovered a completely new relationship with themselves.

For example, if you withdraw after attending three weekends of a 12-weekend session, 25% of the total tuition will remain payable, in addition to the $100 administrative fee.
These fees help cover transaction and administrative costs and recognize that your reserved place may have prevented another student from enrolling.

Upon graduation, students are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200.
