Unless stated otherwise all courses are bilingual meaning that all the instructions are given entirely in both French and English.

Academie Om manuals, assignments, and evaluations are available in the language of your choice.

The Courses are divided into three components designed to provide a complete balance of theoretical knowledge, hands-on training, and real-world clinical experience.

1) Theoretical Classes (At Home)

The theoretical portion of the training is completed through self-paced home study, including readings, assignments, and guided learning materials. Students may begin at any time and progress at their own rhythm, offering maximum flexibility for different schedules and lifestyles.

Throughout the process, instructors remain available to answer questions, clarify concepts, and support students in their learning journey.

2) Practical Classes (In Person)

Practical classes are held in person in small groups to ensure personalized guidance and close supervision from the instructor. Students learn hands-on massage techniques in a professional, supportive, and student-centered environment focused on skill development, confidence, and proper body mechanics.

Each week, students also receive readings and at-home practice exercises designed to help integrate and reinforce the techniques taught during class.

3) Supervised Practicum (In Person)

The 400h Swedish Massage Therapy Training includes a 30-hour supervised practicum, which may begin once the theoretical and practical portions of the course have been completed.

Your 30 hours of hands-on massage time count toward 45 hours of training, as the practicum also includes client intake, health interviews, treatment planning, the massage session itself, and post-treatment follow-up.

The supervised practicum component is a standard requirement in professional massage therapy training programs. However, what makes our program unique is that students complete their practicum within an active professional massage therapy clinic at Vibrations Om, serving real paying clients in a true clinical environment.

This immersive experience allows students to develop not only their technical skills, but also their confidence, professionalism, communication skills, treatment planning abilities, and understanding of real-world clinic operations.

Students are paired with mentors who provide guidance, supervision, and constructive feedback throughout the process.

Unlike many schools that offer limited practicum schedules, our flexible practicum structure allows students to complete their hours according to their availability, making it easier to balance training with work, family, and personal responsibilities.

As this practicum is part of the educational curriculum, practicum hours are completed in a supervised, non-remunerated training setting.

For the 400h Training
Tuition is $3,300 in three Installments:

• $1,100 (Upon registration)

• $1,100 (At the 5th of the 10 classes)

• $1,100 (At the 9th of the 10 classes)
  

Académie Om courses are non taxable.

For the 1000h Training
You will be signed on to 10 monthly payments of $800. You can complete the 1000h at your own pace.

For the 1000h Training:
The 10 monthly installments are automatically programmed at time of registration and are taken on your credit card.

Massage Therapist (400h)
This diploma allows you to register with professional associations such as RMPQ, AMQ, RMQ, or RITMA to issue insurance receipts for your clients.

Advanced Massage Therapist (1000h)
You will get an individual diploma for each of the 10 courses as well as a global 1000-hour Advanced Massage Therapist diploma.

Materials are available for purchase on location on the first day of training or through our online store:

• Course manual produced by Vibrations Om (can be purchased in advance if you would like to get a head start on the readings) ($80)

• 4L of massage gel ($72) + large gel pump ($7)

• 1 oil holster with bottle ($20)

• 1 set of superior quality sheets ($62)

• 2 hand towels ($4/ea)

• Estimated cost for manual and all materials: $249 + taxes

Refund Policy
In case of cancellation a $100 administrative fee will be charged plus the prorated amount based on the number of in-person sessions attended.

Example: If you attended 3 sessions out of 10 you would owe 30% of the total amount + $100.

These administrative fees help cover the high transaction costs and account for the fact that your reserved spot prevented others from registering. This policy ensures fairness for all participants.

Since spots are limited, we kindly ask that you notify us as early as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.

Absenteeism Policy
Up to 1 absence is allowed without consequences. Beyond that, a 90 minute private session ($100/h) per missed day of training is required to validate your certification.

Enforcing a policy of no more than one missed day of class ensures that you are legitimately qualified to offer the services on your diploma.

Places are limited to 10 students per session and they fill up quickly so do not delay in registering to ensure the courses of your choice.
