This course introduces massage therapists and bodywork practitioners to the principles and techniques of Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, a dynamic style of lymphatic bodywork that combines lymphatic stimulation with rhythmic, flowing, and contouring techniques.
While traditional Manual Lymphatic Drainage generally emphasizes very gentle and methodical movements, the Brazilian approach incorporates a more vigorous and sculpting style of treatment, with particular attention to fluid movement, circulation, abdominal work, and body contouring.
The training emphasizes proper pressure, rhythm, direction, sequencing, and body mechanics while developing the fluidity and precision that characterize Brazilian lymphatic techniques. Participants will learn how to structure a complete treatment while adapting the techniques to the client's individual needs, comfort, and presentation.
The course combines theoretical foundations with extensive hands-on practice, allowing participants to develop the confidence, sensitivity, and technical skill required to incorporate Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage into a professional bodywork practice.
Participants will:
Learn the foundations and principles of Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage
Review the essential anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system
Understand the differences between traditional Manual Lymphatic Drainage and the Brazilian approach
Develop precision in pressure, rhythm, direction, and sequencing
Learn practical techniques and treatment sequences for different regions of the body
Develop specific skills for abdominal and body-contouring work
Learn techniques designed to support lymphatic and fluid movement
Explore the integration of lymphatic, rhythmic, and sculpting techniques into a fluid treatment
Understand the indications, precautions, and contraindications associated with lymphatic bodywork
Develop effective body mechanics and treatment flow
Learn how to adapt the treatment according to the client's comfort, goals, and individual needs
This training provides practitioners with a practical foundation for incorporating Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage into their professional practice, particularly for clients seeking lymphatic support combined with a more dynamic and body-contouring approach.
By the end of the course, participants will have developed the practical skills and treatment structure necessary to confidently provide a professional, safe, and effective Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage session.
