Thai Massage Training
Ancestral Temple Massage
Level 1
Traditional Thai Massage on the Floor
This module introduces participants to the foundations of traditional Thai massage, performed on a firm mat on the floor. Drawing from ancient Thai and Ayurvedic healing traditions, this massage combines rhythmic pressure, joint mobilizations, and assisted stretches reminiscent of yoga. Participants will learn structured sequences using body weight, palms, thumbs, elbows, and feet to deliver a deep, flowing treatment. The course emphasizes proper body mechanics, therapist posture, breath awareness, and fluid movement. This meditative practice promotes the circulation of life force energy (Sen) and provides holistic well-being for both giver and receiver.
Part 2: Thai Table Massage with Clothes
This segment explores a table-based adaptation of traditional Thai massage, performed over the recipient's clothing. Students will apply rhythmic pressures, joint mobilizations, and assisted stretches along the body's energy lines (Sen). This oil-free approach allows for deep work while offering maximum comfort and versatility for both therapist and client. Ideal for clinical settings or clients who prefer to remain clothed, this style of massage blends relaxation, vitality, and postural realignment.
Part 3: Thai Oil Massage on the Table
This module introduces a fluid, modern version of Thai massage performed on a table using oil, directly on the skin. It integrates deep gliding techniques, focused pressure, and rhythmic work on the Sen energy lines while preserving the meditative spirit of traditional Thai massage. The skin-to-skin contact allows for refined palpation and tissue sensitivity. This treatment is deeply relaxing, balancing, and restorative.
Level 2
Traditional Floor Thai Massage
Building on the foundations acquired in Level 1, this more advanced module expands the practitioner's repertoire with more sophisticated techniques, transitions, and treatment sequences. Participants will deepen their understanding of traditional Thai massage by exploring advanced work in the supine and prone positions, while introducing comprehensive techniques performed in the side-lying and seated positions.
Special emphasis is placed on fluid transitions between positions, advanced assisted stretches, deeper Sen line work, and refined joint mobilizations. Students will develop greater precision, sensitivity, and confidence while learning how to adapt treatments to different body types, levels of flexibility, and therapeutic goals.
This module further cultivates the meditative flow, body mechanics, and mindful presence that define authentic Thai massage, enabling practitioners to deliver longer, more comprehensive, and highly individualized treatments while preserving the harmony and balance at the heart of this ancestral healing art.
