400h MASSAGE THERAPIST CERTIFICATION

Must be 18 years or older.

This training is made up of three parts. You may complete the theoretical and practical modules at the same time, but the practicum starts only once you’ve finished your in-person practical massage classes.​

1) Theoretical Classes (At Home)
This self-paced module is completed at home through readings and assignments. Our instructors remain available to answer your questions and support you throughout your learning process. This component will help you build a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and other essential subjects related to massage therapy.

2) Practical Classes (In Person)
Practical classes take place in person, in small groups, allowing for personalized guidance from your instructor. Each week, you’ll also receive readings and at-home practice exercises to help you fully integrate the techniques taught. You will learn various Swedish massage techniques in a professional, supportive, and student-centered environment.

​3) Supervised Practicum (In Person)
The practicum involves offering 30 hours of massages. Each 60 minute massage counts for 1.5 hours of training, as it includes client intake, interview, treatment planning, the massage itself, and post-session follow-up.
This is a hands-on opportunity to apply all the skills you've acquired and refine your approach through feedback collected via client evaluation forms.
Practicum hours must be completed at Vibrations Om, after the completion of the practical training modules. You will benefit from real immersion in a professional setting within an active massage therapy clinic with real paying clients. The timeframe to complete your practicum is flexible and based on your availability. You will be paired with a mentor who will be providing you feedback.

Massage Therapist (Swedish Massage 450h)
This diploma allows you to register with professional associations such as RMPQ, RMQ, or RITMA to issue insurance receipts for your clients.

Materials are available for purchase on location on the first day of training or through our online store:

• Course manual produced by Vibrations Om (can be purchased in advance if you would like to get a head start on the readings)

• 4L of massage gel

• 1 oil holster with bottle

• 1 set of sheets

• 2 hand towels

• Estimated cost for manual and materials: $236 + taxes

Refunds
In case of cancellation more than 30 days in advance, a $50 administrative fee will be retained. In case of cancellation in the last 30 days prior to the course a $100 administrative fee will be retained. In addition, the prorated amount based on the number of in-person sessions attended will be retained or will be held. These administrative fees cover high transaction costs and account for the fact that your reserved spot prevented others from registering. This policy ensures fairness for all participants. Since spots are limited, we kindly ask that you notify us as early as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.

Absences
Up to 1 absence is allowed.
Beyond that, private sessions ($100/hour) may be required to validate your certification.

Due to inflation and other rising costs, prices will increase on January 1, 2026. This will be our first price adjustment in 2 years. Register before Dec-31, 2025 to take advantage of current pricing listed below:

Our courses are non-taxable. What you see is what you pay.

Académie Om courses are non taxable.
