YOGA FOR BEGINNERS
YOGA-1 (Beginners)
YOGA-1 is a 8-week course that was designed to provide students with the proper principles and foundations of yoga. While many people learn yoga on the fly, joining a structured course will give you the correct principles of alignment, of movement, of breath and provides a deeper understanding of the underlying yoga philosophy at the core of the practice. It is a thorough introduction to yoga which will allow you to step into any yoga class with full confidence.

YOGA-2: Sivananda Method (Intermediate)
Sivananda Yoga is a form of traditional Hatha yoga following a fixed sequence according to the lineage of Himalayan yoga master Swami Sivananda. A class includes powerful breathing techniques, sun salutations, therapeutic yoga postures designed to strengthen the body, and a final relaxation. Sivananda courses are known for their beneficial effects on the nervous and endocrine systems. This 6 week course includes a weekly 75 minute Sivananda class for practice followed by a 60 minute Sivananda workshop to learn more in depth techniques, sequences and postures. This class is recommended for YOGA-1 graduates or for those who already have a foundation in yoga and wish to deepen.

YOGA-3: Ashtanga Method (Advanced)
Ashtanga Yoga is a challenging fixed flow sequence designed by Pattabhi Jois from Mysore, India. This 6-week course includes a 90 minute Ashtanga workshop to learn the practice followed by a 90 minute Ashtanga class to practice. This course is for YOGA-2 graduates or for those who already have a foundation in yoga and wish to go deeper.
