Classical Yoga: [Hatha, padma sadhana, Sivananda]
Classical Yoga also known as Hatha Yoga is the yoga of balance between effort and rest. Classes generally include an opening chant of Om, breathing techniques (Pranayama), Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar), classical yoga postures (Asana), and a final relaxation (Savasana). The classes are practised with mindfulness and with breath awareness. Postures are executed at a slower pace and with longer holds to strengthen the body:
Hatha Yoga
Hatha Yoga is traditional yoga as practised for ages. Postures are held for several breaths to strengthen and stretch and are practised with mindfulness with the objective of calming the fluctuations of the mind. The postures are generally selected for their therapeutic benefits.
Sivananda Yoga
Sivananda yoga is a form of traditional Hatha Yoga following a specific sequence developed by Swami Vishnudevananda in honour of his teacher Swami Sivananda. Sivananda Yoga is a slower paced class with a short rest period between postures. Students come out feeling calm, grounded, and renewed.
Padma Sadhana
Padma Sadhana is a specific sequence developed by Art of Living Founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The class consists of practising yoga in rounds. Each round starts with a fixed set of postures that are done on the floor and held for 4 to 6 breaths. It is then followed by Pranayama (breathing techniques) and by a meditation practice. The class is taught in a very meditative manner, with eyes closed and with minimal instructions to preserve the silence and the space that is created. The second round repeats the sequence but is experienced differently because of the stillness of the mind that has settled in. The postures are not very difficult but are very therapeutic. Although Padma Sadhana is not a physically hard practice, it is perhaps the most advanced form of yoga in the sense that it requires from students the ability to control their breath, quiet their minds and be in a meditative state throughout the class.

Prenatal yoga is currently offered in the form of private classes allowing you to learn how to modify the postures for pregnancy so that you may join any of our regular yoga classes thereafter.
Kids Yoga
This class is for kids ages 8 to 12. Through acro-yoga and other fun ways of introducing yoga, kids get the opportunity to practice yoga on a weekly basis.
Teens Yoga

Babies may be held in parents arms, secured in a baby carrier or placed in a secure seat or on a blanket in front of the parent. The class is also open to women during their pregnancy.
