Course Description
This specialized course is designed for massage therapists who wish to provide safe, appropriate, and nurturing care to pregnant women. You will learn the anatomical and physiological changes during pregnancy, the precautions to take during each trimester, and the contraindications to be aware of. The course covers appropriate massage positions, safe techniques to relieve common discomforts (such as back pain, heavy legs, and stress), and the proper use of support cushions. The approach is centered on promoting relaxation, supporting emotional balance, and creating a respectful, attentive space during this precious time. This module is essential for any massage therapist looking to expand their practice to include prenatal clients.
