The active and passive sessions are well spaced out in alternation for a perfect balance.
Language
The training will be bilingual. The teachers will speak in French and English. Participants will be able to communicate, work and practice in the language of their choice.
Teachers
The main teachers are: Antoine Tinawi and Pamela Gooria. Antoine and Pamela are the owners of 3 yoga studios and are direct disciples of India's most renowned spiritual master, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. They have been studying with him for almost three decades and have lived in Ashrams for many years. This gives them a privileged position to explain the philosophy of yoga, the yogic way of life, the spiritual dimensions of yoga, the more subtle energetic practices such as pranayamas and meditation at a much deeper level. Their trainings include Hatha Yoga (1000h), Sivananda Yoga (500h), Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga (200h), and other more recent styles such as Yin, Restorative, Prenatal and Chair Yoga. This 200h training draws on all their experiences to offer a more complete understanding of the yoga tradition.
Style
The training is offered in Hatha Yoga (traditional) and Vinyasa Yoga (flow). This training allows you to be certified in the two most sought after styles of yoga.
Our training focuses on a balanced approach between the physical knowledge to teach the classes correctly and safely while diving deep into the more spiritual and philosophical dimensions of the yoga tradition.
